Important: Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Nobak. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Nobak ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Nobak is a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet application that enables users to:

Create and manage Stellar blockchain accounts
Send and receive digital assets
Interact with decentralized applications
Access financial services through integrated partners

3. Eligibility

To use Nobak, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age
Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
Comply with all local laws and regulations regarding cryptocurrency

4. Account Registration and Security

4.1 Account Creation

You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information during registration
Maintain and update your account information
Complete identity verification (KYC) when required
Use only one account per person

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your private keys and recovery phrases
All activities that occur under your account
Securing your device with PIN, biometric authentication, or password
Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized access

Critical Security Notice: Nobak is a non-custodial wallet. We do NOT have access to your private keys. If you lose your recovery phrase or private keys, we CANNOT recover your funds. You are solely responsible for backing up and securing your wallet credentials.

5. User Responsibilities

5.1 Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

Use the Service for illegal activities or money laundering
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
Impersonate any person or entity
Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
Engage in market manipulation or fraudulent trading

5.2 Compliance

You agree to:

Comply with all applicable tax obligations
Provide accurate KYC information when requested
Report suspicious activities
Cooperate with regulatory investigations

6. Transactions and Fees

6.1 Transaction Execution

All transactions are executed on the Stellar blockchain and are irreversible
You are responsible for verifying transaction details before confirmation
Network congestion may cause delays in transaction processing
We do not control the Stellar network and are not responsible for network issues

6.2 Fees

Stellar network fees apply to all transactions
Third-party service fees may apply (e.g., anchor fees, exchange fees)
Fee structures are subject to change
All fees will be clearly displayed before transaction confirmation

7. Third-Party Services

Nobak integrates with third-party services including:

Stellar anchors for fiat on/off ramps
KYC verification providers
Price data providers
Decentralized exchanges

We are not responsible for the actions, policies, or services of third parties. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Nobak are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute our software
Reverse engineer or decompile the application
Use our trademarks without permission
Create derivative works

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 Service Availability

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

Uninterrupted or error-free service
Security of the Stellar network
Accuracy of price data or market information
Compatibility with all devices

9.2 Financial Risks

Risk Warning: Cryptocurrency transactions involve significant risks including:

Price volatility and potential loss of value
Irreversible transactions
Regulatory changes
Technical vulnerabilities
Loss of private keys resulting in permanent loss of funds

You acknowledge that you understand these risks and accept full responsibility for your investment decisions.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nobak and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

Loss of funds due to user error or negligence
Unauthorized access to your account
Network failures or blockchain issues
Third-party service failures
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nobak, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

Your violation of these Terms
Your use of the Service
Your violation of any laws or regulations
Infringement of third-party rights

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by:

Withdrawing all funds from your wallet
Deleting the application
Contacting support to request account deletion
